How Click and Collect Works

Ordering for collection is straightforward. We prepare the plants at the nursery so your order is ready when you arrive.

    Shop online as normal and add the plants and accessories you need to your basket.

    2. Choose Click and Collect

    Select the Click and Collect option during checkout rather than delivery.

    3. Wait for confirmation

    Please do not travel to the nursery until we have confirmed that your complete order is ready and collection has been arranged.

    4. Collect from the nursery

    Come to our nursery in Dedham at the agreed time. If you are collecting larger plants or a substantial quantity, make sure your vehicle has enough room to transport them safely.

Do I need to arrange a collection time?
Yes. Please wait until we have confirmed that your order is ready and collection has been arranged before travelling to the nursery.
Where do I collect my order?
Collection is from Hedging Plants Direct LTD, Long Road West, Dedham, Colchester, Essex, CO7 6ER.
Will my plants fit in my car?
That depends on the plant sizes and quantity ordered. Hedging plants can take up more room than expected, particularly larger pot-grown and root-balled plants. If you are unsure, contact us before collection and tell us what vehicle you are bringing.
Can I collect Bare Root or Root Balled plants outside their normal season?
Bare Root and Root Balled plants are seasonal. Orders placed outside the lifting season may be held as pre-orders, so collection will only be possible once the plants are seasonally available and we have confirmed that the order is ready.
Can I have my order delivered instead?
Yes. We also offer box, pallet and specialist delivery depending on the plants ordered and your location. See our Delivery & Returns Information page for current delivery details.
