Thornless Hedging Mix is perfect for areas in your garden where children play or where a hedge is needed close to a path. We have included 3 different types of Dogwood hedging to enhance winter interest. Now available to buy in easy 1 metre packs or discount packs. Each metre pack contains 5 plants. Simply plant 2 staggered rows mixing the plants to make a wonderful hedge. Each row should be 30cm apart and each plant 40cm apart in each row.
Thornless Garden Mix consists of:
30% Field Maple (Acer campestre)
20% Hazel (Corylus avellana)
20% Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus)
10% Common Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea)
10% Red Stemmed Dogwood (Cornus sibirica)
10% Yellow Stemmed Dogwood (Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea')
The amount of each plant will vary depending on stock levels.
Growth rate: Medium 20-40cm per year
Overall height: Medium up to 5 metres
Position: Coastal, Sheltered, Full Sun, Exposed
