Horse Safe Mixed Hedging

We have a lot of customer asking if any of our Mixed Native Hedging is safe to be planted bordering paddocks with horses. Most of our mixes use Field Maple as a percentage to glue the hedge together but as its a from the same family as Sycamore we have swapped it for safer plants.

Now available to buy in easy 1 metre packs. Each metre pack contains 5 plants. Simply plant 2 staggered rows mixing the plants to make a wonderful hedge. Each row should be 30cm apart, and each plant 40cm apart in row. Simply add how many metres of hedge you need to your basket and we will work out the mix and quantity for you.

Once planted it is recommended to keep the livestock a minimum of 2 metres from the new hedge until its established.
